What different sizes of LED light bars are there?
We make light bars in a range of sizes from 4-inch up to 52-inch.
The smallest is our Nitro Maxx 12W 4" single Row Light Bar and they go all the way up to our Nitro Maxx 220W 52" Single Row Light Bar.
Smaller light bars are compact and versatile, perfect for adding additional lighting for your campsite, work area, or even the tray of your ute when setting up camp or loading gear. Our larger light bars are designed for maximum beam width and impressive distance. These are ideal for serious off-roaders, trucks, or roof-mounted setups that require broad coverage across challenging terrain.
Choosing the right size will depend on your needs, driving style, terrain, and whether you need auxiliary lighting for work, play, or long-haul driving.

This light bar is available with side and base mounting options, allowing for simple fitment in a position that suits your vehicle and offers you maximum effectiveness.
Which LED light bar is the best value for money?
Our Raptor 90 LED 20.5" Light Bar offers fantastic value for money, thanks to 550m of usable light, spread or combo beam options, and either 4000k or 5700k colour temperature. At $409, this light bar packs a serious punch, while the stainless-steel pivot mounts and fixings mean installing this bar for maximum light coverage is easy. We also have a number of roof rack mounting plates and number plate mounting options available, so that you can get the perfect fit on your rig.
Which is the best light bar for highway driving?
For long periods of highway driving, you want a light with powerful performance. Our Nitro Maxx 205W 24" LED light bar delivers an incredible 1300m of usable light thanks to our Contrl® Optic, and includes our Widr® Optic that offers over 170º of beam spread. It also comes with the option of either 5700K for a light that penetrates further into the darkness, or a 4500K colour temperature for a warmer coloured light that will give less glare from road signs.
Are LED light bars legal in Australia?
Yes, while each state has their own rules for installation and placement, it is legal to have light bars on your vehicle in Australia as long as they do not obscure your view or add extra glare to other road users. Will an LED light bar drain my battery?
LED light bars are designed to be energy-efficient compared to older halogen setups; however, they still draw significant power when in use. If left on for an extended period of time while your car engine is not running, your LED light bar may drain your battery. But if you make sure that your light bar is wired properly, then through normal use, your LED light bar will not excessively drain your battery.
Do you need a wiring harness for a LED light bar?
Yes, a wiring harness is essential to connect your LED light bar to your vehicle's power supply. It ensures safe operation, protects your vehicle’s electrics and can allows you to control the light bar through an in-cabin switch. We recommend using our proprietary, quality harnesses with relay and fuse protection. Many of our light bars are supplied with an optional plug-and-play harness kit for easy installation.
